Reservation and payment
An advance payment will always be required to confirm a booking.
The advance payment to confirm the booking can be made online, with credit/debit card, PayPal, by telephone (+34 96 350 4340), by fax or by bank transfer. The amount transferred and received in our bank account must be the NET amount excluding any internal charges applied by your bank. The remaining amount of the rental is paid during the check-in at the apartment.
Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until GetMeAnApartment has received the pre-payment amount in full and you have received a confirmation email from GetMeAnApartment.
Each apartment requires a security bond, which varies depending on the type and features of the accommodation. The security bond is paid during the check-in at the apartment and will be returned in full once our representative or the owner has inspected the apartment and confirmed it to be in the same conditions in which it was found at the check-in.
All of the prices are in Euros and include Spanish VAT (IVA).
Use of utilities are included in the price.
For stays of 30 days or longer, the costs for the consumption of water, electricity and gas are included in the price of the booking up to a maximum amount of:
- 100€/month for studios and apartments of 1 to 2 bedrooms;
- 125€/month for apartments of 3 bedrooms;
- 150€/month for apartments of 4 or more bedrooms.
These amounts are calculated on the basis of a responsible consumption. Any amount exceeding this usage will be the responsibility of the client, and demonstrated with the corresponding bills emitted by the utility company.
The minimum stay in the majority of the apartments is of 3 nights.
In cases where the apartment belongs to an apart-hotel, your booking can be made by providing your credit card details and accepting a cancellation policy, without having to make any prepayment. To see the apartment’s cancellation policy go to the first step of the booking process by clicking “Book now”.
However, if you prefer you can book by making a non-refundable advance payment by bank transfer, PayPal, or card (details not retained).
Please note that the advance payment made to confirm the booking is non-refundable.
GetMeAnApartment reserves the right to request full payment in advance for bookings during special events.
In the case of cancellation of a fully paid reservation, the following cancellation policy would be applied:
- More than 90 days before: 20% of the total amount.
- 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount.
- 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount.
- Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount.
We strongly recommend that the guest purchases travel cancellation insurance to cover the eventuality of being forced to make a cancellation.
- Should the number of persons be reduced before the date of arrival, the corresponding difference in price shall be discounted from the booking, provided that the number of persons is not less than the minimum number of persons stipulated for the dates booked. The advance payment received cannot be returned or reduced. Reductions in the number of persons after the arrival date cannot be discounted.
- Should the number of persons be increased, the corresponding difference in price must be paid. Both the advance payment and the remaining amount are increased to reflect the new total price.
- Should the number of nights booked be reduced before the date of arrival, the corresponding difference in price in proportion to the number of nights reduced, shall be discounted from the booking, provided that the minimum night’s stay for the apartment and dates booked is satisfied. The advance payment received cannot be returned or reduced. Reductions in the number of nights after the arrival date cannot be discounted.
- Should the booking be increased in number of nights, the corresponding difference in price must be paid in proportion to the number of nights increased.
- A request to change the booked apartment to another is deemed to be a new booking and will be subject to the cancellation policy of GetMeAnApartment.
The obligation to maintain the apartment booked for the client shall cease without notice in the case that it should not be occupied by the client on the planned arrival date.
Should GetMeAnApartment be unable to accommodate the client in the apartment he has booked due to reasons beyond its control such as unexpected breakdowns, GetMeAnApartment reserves the right to accommodate the client in an apartment of similar characteristics, with the approval of the client.
Should GetMeAnApartment not be able to accommodate the client, and no recourse or agreement can be reached, in such an event, the client will be refunded all monies paid for rental, cleaning fee and security bond (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, should that be the case).
Please remember that GetMeAnApartment offers an apartment booking service to third parties, for which it does not form part of the contractual agreement between the client and the owner of the apartment.
Check-in and Check-out times
When you make your booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information necessary for your arrival at the apartment in the city of destination. We recommend that you print the confirmation email and take it with you on the day of your arrival.
By default, the check-in at the apartment is from 15:00h and the check-out by 11:00h. Please consult the detailed apartment web-page for the general check-in and check-out times of the apartment that you wish to book. If you plan to arrive before the default check-in time, please contact the owner or apartment manager to ask if it will be possible, who will do what they can to help you. The same applies to check-out time so if you wish to check-out at a later time than the default check-out time please contact the owner or apartment manager to ask if it will be possible.
The majority of owners establish an additional fee for late evening arrivals. Consult the specific conditions of the apartment to see the amount applied, if any, and from what time.
House rules in the accommodation
Dear guest, whilst enjoying your stay in a GetMeAnApartment apartment, remember that it is not a hotel but a genuine residence surrounded by neighbours; peace and quiet is to be respected and maintained at all times. The owners make every effort to prepare the residence for you to ensure that you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay; think of the following guests and treat the apartment with care so that it is left just as you found it, and so that they may also enjoy the apartment as much as you have.
The principal guest, (in the name of whom the reservations was made), must be aged 18 years or over and must be the person who actually uses the accommodation. At the time of making the reservation you must specify the number of persons who will have use of the apartment. The number of persons given at the time of the reservation must be the same as that actually occupying the apartment. Each apartment has a given capacity that must never be exceeded (except in the case of children under 4 years).
The principal guest who makes the booking and who signs the documents at the check-in is personally responsible for the behaviour of all of the guests that accompany him/her.
The guests are obliged not to undertake any activities in the accommodation which could cause upset to the neighbours.
The working norms of the proprietor's committee for the building, in which the accommodation is located, are to be respected, as well as the proper use of the common elements and fittings of the building.
The apartment owner reserves the right to refuse admission, and in the case of public scandal or inappropriate conduct, which disturbs the peace and dwelling in the building, can remove the occupier and take such measures as may be necessary. This would also result in the loss of paid rental and of the security bond without any right of compensation.
The client expressly recognises that the contracted accommodation does not constitute, nor will it constitute, their habitual dwelling, their sole right being to use the same for the agreed period.
GetMeAnApartment accepts no liability for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused to the guests, however caused, directly or indirectly or by any event. Nor is any responsibility taken for the loss or theft of the guests personal property left on or near the premises.
Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 22:00 and 10:00.
It is requested that during your stay in the apartment you help to save energy by assuring that the air-conditioning and the lights are switched off when you go out.
The apartment has been cleaned for your arrival. During your stay it is requested that you take your rubbish out to the nearest rubbish containers in the street, and to leave the apartment in adequate conditions. The owner has the right to charge an additional fee if the apartment is not left in the above mentioned conditions.
If during your stay any damage to the apartment or its equipment should arise, you must inform the owner/apartment manager immediately, so that repair can be carried out as soon as possible.
Submission to Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions have been drafted in accordance with Spanish law and therefore any interpretation thereof shall be governed by Spanish law. For any dispute concerning the reservation of accommodation made by Getmeanapartment.com, only the Spanish courts will have jurisdiction.
In compliance with the obligations deriving from the statutory law 15/1999, of the 13th December of the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your personal data, as well as all data necessary, to facilitate the delivery of the contracted service, will be included in a file, properly notified to the Spanish Agency for Protection of Data (AEPD), and for which ESTELLES RICE ASOCIADOS S.L. is responsible. The purpose of said collection of data is to formalize and manage our services satisfactorily. In accordance with the aforementioned law, you are able to exercise the right of access, cancellation, rectification and opposition, communicating to ESTELLES RICE ASOCIADOS S.L. C/ Garrigues, 2- 4º-11ª - 46001 Valencia, providing accreditation of your identity by means of a photocopy of your passport or identity card together with the application for exercising of said right.
Acceptance of the terms and conditions
GetMeAnApartment reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required to and as may be in line with the company's business. The onus is placed on all parties, using the site, to undertake adequate measures to ensure that they visit any such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and, that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes. GetMeAnApartment reserves the right to modify rates and prices, photographs and descriptions presented on its website at any time; GetMeAnApartment is not responsible for and nor does it guarantee the capacity or suitability of any service or product advertised on its website.
