THE AREA SURROUNDING THE LES ARTS I APARTMENT.
The Les Arts I apartment provides you with an unparalleled location for visiting the iconic City of Arts and Sciences and the Turia river-garden both of which you will find literally at the end of your street.
The Reina Sofía Performing Arts Centre, the Hemispheric, the Prince Philip Science Museum and the Oceanographic are all within walking distance and you will enjoy coming across them in the above order as you walk through the amazing architectural site.
Take advantage of your proximity to the river garden to go for strolls and discover the world's only ancient river bed converted into public garden, perhaps indulging in sporting activity such as running, cycling or using the installed exercise devices. As the river bed stretches all the way from the coast to the opposite end of the city, you could even follow it to the Old Town, coming up at the old Serranos Gate (about forty minute's walk) or all the way to the very end where you could visit the Biopark safari-zoo (approx. one hour and twenty minute's walk).
The Les Arts I apartment is to be found in a residential neighbourhood where you will find cafés and restaurants and you will have a supermarket in easy reach at eight minute's walk (Mercadona, Calle Finestrat / Señera).
Should you decide to take a walk into the historic centre you will find that it is approximately a twenty five minute journey in a straight line that should bring you to the Calle Colón, following Calle Escultor José Capuz, crossing Avenida Perís y Valero and continuing along Calle Ciscar, then crossing the Gran Via Marqués del Turia and continuing along Calle Conde de Salvatierra.
En-route to the centre at just over a quarter of an hour you will pass through the atmospheric "Ensanche" neighbourhood where you will find a large number of restaurants and street terraces where it is very pleasant to enjoy a meal or some tapas with your companions.
