The City Square apartment takes its name from its location beside the City Square and City Hall (Plaza del Ayuntamiento). It goes without saying that the location is central; in fact it is the hub of the city from where the sites, restaurants and shops can all be easily accessed by foot.

The historic sites such as the City Square, the Lonja, Central Market, Cathedral, Quart and Serranos gates and bullring all lie close at hand between zero and ten minute's walk. Restaurants, tapas and bars abound and can be found concentrated especially in the old town areas around the cathedral and the more modern side of the City Square around the streets of Ruzafa towards the bullring.

For cinemas you just need to walk across the City Square and five minutes down the Calle Roger de Lauria and you will find two complexes. For shopping, the same direction brings you to the Calle Colón, the main centre for all the popular high street brands.

Your visit to Valencia would be incomplete without a stroll in the Turia river garden just over ten minute's walk away; the world's only river-bed converted into public garden that stretches for six kilometres, filled with trees, flowers, playgrounds and cafés. Follow it all the way to its end to arrive at the City of Arts and Sciences (approximately twenty five minute's walk).
