Valencia's famous old town district "El Carmen" is to be encountered right on the doorstep of the Bolseria Building 4 apartment, where you will enjoy access to the historic centre's largest offering of tapas, bars and restaurants and where you can enjoy the lively street atmosphere late into the night. When you are ready to go home, you can simply stroll a few minutes back to the apartment.

You will have the perfect base in the Bolseria Building 4 apartment from which to visit the main historic sites in Valencia's centre. You will enjoy arriving in one minute's walk at the Lonja Silk Exchange and the fabulous Central Market where you will be able to buy fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish for your home cooking from a mouth watering array of stalls to fulfill any culinary plans that you may have.

Walking five minutes further will bring you to the Quart Towers, the Cathedral or the City Square. You will also be able to reach the green river bed of the Turia after a ten minute walk, the world's only river bed turned public garden where you can indulge in a pleasant cycle or stroll along its ten kilometre length. This is in fact a great way to get to the City of Arts and Sciences which lies at the mouth of the former river at about fourty minutes walk through the Turia gardens.

How to get to: CITY OF ARTS & SCIENCES

METRO (approx. 45 mins):

Walk 12 mins (1 km) to metro Xàtiva (Lines 3 & 5, Calle Xàtiva, by the Estación del Norte railway station). Take Green Line 5 in direction Marítim Serrería for 5 stops (10 mins). Alight at Ayora station. Walk for 20 mins (1.5 km).

BUS (approx. 30 mins):

Walk 3 mins (350 m) to the bus stop at the beginning of the Avenida Baron de Carcer on the other side of the Central Market from the apartment and take Line 81 for 6 stops. Alight at the "Palau de Justícia - Glorieta" stop. Walk for 200 metres to the "Navarro Reverter - Gravador" stop and take the line 95 for 8 stops. Alight at the "Museu de les Ciencies" stop.

How to get to: BEACH

METRO (approx. 35 mins):

Walk 14 mins (1.1 km) to tram station Pont de Fusta (Line 4) (located on the opposite bank of the river from the Puente de Serranos). Take the tram on line 4 in direction DR LLUCH for 9 stops (18 mins). Alight at Eugenia Viñes station.

BUS (approx. 45 mins):

Walk 3 mins (350 m) to the bus stop at the beginning of the Avenida Baron de Carcer on the other side of the Central Market from the apartment and take Line 81 for 6 stops. Alight at the "Palau de Justícia - Glorieta" stop. Walk for 200 metres to the "Navarro Reverter - Gravador" stop and take Line 32 for 16 stops. Alight at the stop "Pavia - Platja de les Arenes", you will be at Las Arenas beach.
