Experience the old town of Valencia in the comfort of the beautifully refurbished Baixa apartment, from where you will enjoy arriving at the historic sites on foot, and one of Valencia's most popular locations for eating out.

The Baixa apartment offers you a modern designer interior featuring elements such as revealed wooden beams, parquet flooring, and modern furnishings and fittings. The apartment has a very pleasant and attractive main double bedroom with built in bathroom including a large luxurious bathtub and shower, and free standing twin wash basins. Here you will also find a built in wardrobe offering plenty of space for your clothes.

The Baixa apartment offers you a maximum capacity of six persons with the use of the double bedroom, a double sofa-bed in the lounge, and a double bed located on a raised level, accessed by a folding ladder (please note that this space has an extremely low ceiling). In addition to the bathroom in the bedroom, the apartment also has a second independent bathroom with walk-in shower.

The bedroom and the living room both have a hot/cold airconditioning unit to ensure your comfort throughout the year. Please note that the Baixa apartment is located on the third floor without lift. On your arrival at the apartment, your luggage will be taken up for you.

THE AREA SURROUNDING THE BAIXA APARTMENT.

Located in the old heart of Valencia in the picturesque neighbourhood known as El Carmen, you will be surrounded by the important historic sites such as the Serranos and Quart gates, the Cathedral, the Lonja and the Central Market, all of which lie less than ten minute's walk away.

If you like to go out to eat and enjoy the ambience of street terraces and bars then this neighbourhood is perfect for you as it is one of Valencia's best known areas for going out and offers a large variety of restaurants, tapas and bars. The Mosen Sorell fresh produce market is conveniently located just over the road, thus providing for all your home cooking needs should you prefer to eat at home.

Your visit to Valencia would be incomplete without a stroll in the Turia river garden just over five minute's walk away; the world's only river-bed converted into public garden that stretches for six kilometres, filled with trees, flowers, playgrounds and cafés. Follow it all the way to its end to arrive at the City of Arts and Sciences (approximately forty minute's walk).


TRANSPORT LINKS FROM THE BAIXA APARTMENT.

The Baixa apartment is just 6 or 7 minute's walk away from the bus stop at the Serranos Gate (Torres de Serranos) from where you can catch the following buses (1 / 5 / 6 / 11 / 16 / 26 / 28 / 29 / 36 / 80 / 95 / N10). The number 95 will take you to the City of Arts and Sciences. The best way to get to the city's beaches from the Baixa apartment is by tram which you can take from the Pont de Fusta tram station on Line 4. To get to Pont de Fusta station, cross the river over the Serranos bridge (approximately 12 minute's walk).
